I don't know how the people that are still employed can go to work every day. The stress has to be unbelievable knowing that no one is safe with another RIF coming soon. Don't think your position or length of employment means anything to this company because it doesn't. In fact if you are one of the higher paid you are one of the first chosen for the RIF. Keep an eye out because your time in coming sooner than you think.
Who was the moron who rambled on and on about APA formats? And insulted the faculty in the process? Note: It is very unprofessional to show up at a high level meeting and trash your peers, especially with all of them present. We all heard your name, and what you said about us. Teachers have very long memories! But I wrote it down anyway.
Who was the tard who asked the last question? Holy crap, what mindless dribble in the town hall meeting. Otherwise, there were some very interesting questions asked and answered.
Well that is how the story goes. I hope he doesn't fall for another SOS BS.
Let the numbers and morals of employees speak for itself.
It's really sad to hear all this "we" and "you're the best" talk and then be let down to find out there will definitely be RIFs.
A big fat RIF, that's what it means.
It means absolutely nothing... what do you want it to mean? Job security? Don't count on it!
