To force senior people out they were rotated and forcibley made to work in lowend tasks like coding and test case execution and if they successfully do it (which leads to the situation where they cannot be labelled as non technical) the senior people were made to report to junior resources (manager made to report to lead and delivery manager made to report to junior pm, PL3 made to report to PL1 or AP3) till they resign.
While the person is working on customer deliverables mail are circulated that he/she is DNC (delivery non conformance - person doing less valuable work than his position in hierrachy) and once the Dm feels that the new team is all set the targeted person suddnely find himself/herself on bench ready to be fired by HR who starts with the question what is the difference bewtwen u and trainee and threatens that if you dont resign voluntarily in the system you will be given termination letter stating your fired for performance reasons.
