Praying for status quo

You get what you pay for. If you reward people for invention, then they will invent more. If you reward people for bring in revenue, then they will figure out the shortest path to win designs through bribes and grafts. People who want big titles don’t sit around and innovate, because they are too busy looking for the next promotion. They are the driven, self-motivated, go getter, team player, and whatever crap you might put on the resume.
All the VP's I have known have worked pretty hard, even the POS ones who manage through the "the bigger the a$$hole the bigger the role" style, fostering long term dysfunction for short term results (which is sort of why Q's star is fading now, nothing kills innovation faster than the last two decades of QC's deevolution into just another chip company).
Haha. I know most of the VP's in QCT and all of them work their asses off. There aren't that many VP's in QCT making it difficulty for everyone to climb that ladder.
Directors and above are always praying for status quo--because they are all convinced that change is bad. Hope your RSUs don't vest for at least another 5 years. You all deserve to reap the fruits of the status quo.
Folks don't be so bitter ... just being honest ... this is the norm. Directors and above are praying for status quo
Hey HR Rats. See this post from "goodlife"? If he really is a VP, fire his a$$ now. Otherwise, thanks for the stupid humor. HR = Homo Rectum
You never get tired of BS around, don't you? What's your engine? Don't you have a real life and purpose other than spilling your bitterness?
