Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

Faking employee job descriptions- not a best practice Hawn....

Is it even legal for the ACICS visit that adjunct instructors have been given the title in name only of Program Director or Lead Instructor???? At least three FL campuses have committed fraud if the answer is no.

New company name, some new faces but the same old dirty CCi inspired practices.

153 is correct. ACICS has always been a scam accreditor, for institutions that couldn't get that accredited elsewhere. Their reviewers also work in for profit ed, and have no genuine concern for standards, just that you can give them some reason to check off the boxes. They scratch our back and then when they are up for accreditation review and our employees are reviewers, we scratch theirs. The Dept of Ed probably doesn't care much either, but if there is something in writing (either an ACICS or Zenith policy) and this is breaking it, ED can remove financial aid. It's a Title IV requirement that you follow all of your policies (believe it or not -- I guess we haven't had that many whistleblowers).

Notify ACICS but remember it is only a pretend accreditor. The Dept. of Ed. would be interested.

So between filing a complaint on ACICS.org (the people who who could actually do something if a complaint has merit) and posting anonymously on a "layoff" message board you chose this option? Brilliant!
