There will be no BK, ther eis enough cash to avoid that. Once the stock hits <0.25, we become very attractive to anyone that wants an hostile take over, with access otthe 1.25B dollar we just took in new loan.
Sandridge's assets produce more water than oil. It's junk. Bankrupt by year's end. Meanwhile, Tommy Ward just got a new set of clubs and is living the dream.

I think they said well staffed, but not sure, I do think it is a different situation and I do think layoff might still happen.
Do you mean the same leading team that said "no lay offs in 2015" only 6 months ago. Hmm short term memories around here
you heard it today in the townhall meeting, i do trust the leading team
The name on my door changed last April 2nd. They need to look at some of the so called "VPs".
Don't care who's name is on the building as long as the name on my door doesn't change.
Because they are un-founded. Tell me something with concrete evidence behind it.
Shrek, how is "Just got information from a reliable source that SD is in negotiations to sell", negative? That is just what this type of forum is for, a piece of information that could have potential implications of layoffs at Sandridge. Don't be a prick
False Rumors by negative people
Remember, negotiations are just in fact negotiations, not a done deal
I heard rumors last week that some folks from Exxon were coming in. Interesting now to hear this. With a company that big, they may just be interested in the O & G assets. Not good for us, they have enough folks already and would probably get rid of all the employees and keep the mineral assets
I think this is just another rumor, under any circumstances, I am not sure how this is good for employees, as Talisman had to lay off hundreds of people under the umbrella of the energy crisis. Not saying SD can survive as is, however acquisition can be quite screwed.
They were being looked at by Repsol last year and Bennett tried o get too high of price. They had the JV data and were not fooled. Bought Talisman instead. Would have been great for the employees. Hopefully whomever is next will keep the okc office.
Really??? Who would buy a company with so much debt an little assets?
