Free Lean Idea for Syntel Management

  1. Sack the managers who are promoting chatugiri and caste based reservation in syntel. People who are in their good books get good onsite opportunities. Their act is as if they are career/future builder(GOD) for others.

  2. Publish the actual SEEK results. Don't rug it and show that 85% people are happy.

  3. Fire the HR's who say employee satisfaction is not important. You don't need HR only to do recruitment activities.

  4. Evaluate managers based on LEAN ideas. Today they are only acting like resource managers. Means resource under him will submit Idea and he will just eat cream layer and give bread to resource who submitted idea.

  5. STOP managers field trip to onshores with family on cost of company's money. You don't need resource managers there. You need people who can pull projects.

Here you can save much more revenue than you will save by firing people.

  1. Make appraisal/Visa processing performance based and not quota based. Awards/Visa's should be given to person who is performing and not to person who is unhappy or just put his papers. There is very wrong trend going on here.

CUT THE ROOT NOT THE BRANCHES.

@Big Leaders, if you still want to close the SHOP inform employees as they have families to be taken care, EMI's to be paid. They don't have big bank balances or stock options like you. Don't spread panic by not making layoff criteria visible. There are good employees here who can find jobs the next day, given that you provide him advance notice. We are not your slaves that you will come and ask us to leave with humiliation.

All those who posted comments and are affected by Syntel's cruel action, lets contact and meet at some common point. Chennai guys have logged a complaint against Syntel. why cant we unite and do something ?
