I have been at Qorvo nine years. We heard last week that 30 percent would be laid off
My $0.02: Qorvo needs to move to higher gross margin products (e.g. WiFi products in M2M sphere) to survive in the mobile sector. Unfortunately, there are only two high volume smartphone manufacturers left and Smartphones no longer command the margins they used to. All suppliers will feel the effects. With the silent elimination of dual HQ structure- future does not look promising for Hillsboro, OR Fab.
Qorvo management sucks..
Will soon, they have to lay off. It is ripple effects. Everything is so cheap from TV to Cell Phone. The Defense budget is also cutting down. No war to create more Military Complex industry profit for your company to continue to grow. Good luck.
