Hello Dear Laid-Off Colleagues,

Please be advised that a conference call is scheduled for April, 24th, 2015 at 7am PST. The call in number is 712-432-0370; access code--1046588#. We hope many of you can attend and ask questions. I paid out of pocket so we could have this opportunity so let take advantage of it. The attorney WILL NOT reveal specific strategies because we may have adversaries listening as well. See you tomorrow.

Class Action attorneys looking for a bone. Nothing more than a scam. Where's the OP now, he was so quick with his swearing and name calling when someone questioned him last week.

I attended and nothing really that important was said. It was stated that there are 70+ positions posted in CareerBuilder but if you look at the positions they really don't match the positions that were eliminated. It seemed like attorneys just digging for info and hoping to have a case.

I don't know that this is a scam, but it certainly seems to be a very low percentage case. There is a reason the attorney won't do this on contingency.....

Told you so. When I wrote about this being bogus and a waste of time the OP started swearing and calling me names. Unless you can prove you were terminated because of age, race or gender there's nothing illegal. And it gets even harder to prove anything when a number of employees were terminated.

OP feeling better now? Or you are one of the attorneys or know who they are? Trying to prey on the vulnerable?

What did I say in a earlier reply when this first came out. In my opinion it is ambulance chasing at its worst. There is no case, you are at will employees. Pull up your pants and go get another job. Don't pay any lawyers your hard earned money, its waste. Use this site to relieve some frustration, but don't think its going to help more than that. You will be taken advantage of if you do.

About 4-5 attendees plus two attorneys. Only two former employees spoke up to describe their scenario. One individual pointed out that there were Careerbulider postings for the same job right after the layoff/termination. Another said his term speech included cloudy references to performance. It appears that the attorneys, if they take the case, will not do this on contingency, but will require some level of fee/retainer. The attorney pointed out that this would be a,very long process. .
