I agree on the other comments made, but to say the SAP project and investment was a failure is a non logical comment to make.
We at Chesapeake are just as nervous. They told us no firings but clearly that's only the case till they need too. We support you.
This is exactly how I feel...totally lied to. They were excellent performers. It is a sad day and yet a very eye opening one as well.
You are right on. There where a lot of great people let go today. The IT Conference call today was a JOKE!! Why doesn't Ben William take a hike!!. Dignity? Ben Williams you have none!! He does nothing for his department, but let it get walked all over. Letting people that have worked for Devon for over 10-20 years go makes no since? I am floored. Next think we know the entire IT will be out sourced. You watch. They keep contractors and let FTEs go! They told us never a lay off. That the contractor staff was the buffer. The lies, tell me more lies.
