ESI no severance pay for 2015 layoffs

As always ESI is royally screwing former employees by breaking agreements for severance and vacation pay to those who were entitled to it. Especially USW employees.

Now we hear that one of our local Senior management staff is upset that so many experienced, dedicated staff are leaving. What do you expect when your company has laid off/shut down/killed jobs in almost all the facilities that they own?? I mean seriously! I was born at night but not last night! You offer the top 14 here in the Tampa Contract Center an incentive bonus of $1,000 to leave, why wouldn't we take it??!!! This is the second time since ESI bought out Medco that they are trying to rid themselves of the top level PCAs at the Tampa Contact Center. This time most of us are obliging them as we can see the handwriting on the wall!!!

Tampa info- Feb ESI gave a 60 day WARN notice to aprox. 210 employees they got the ESI SUB PLAN which is a Max of 12 weeks pay which runs concurrently with unemployment if they get a job prior to end of 12 weeks they get 25% of what ever is left, they are paid out for any unused vacation but not time bank and they get no insurance. There is also about 180 customer service people left and they are offering a voluntary severance to them they will get 12 weeks severance and can then file for unemployment they will be paid for both time bank and vacation left anyone that remains will be transferred to w@h for however long it last.

Fort Worth site was closed Wednesday around 12:30. No notice, no warning. They've even spent months renovating the building, thousands on new hvac systems, new time clock terminals. I guess they were getting the building ready to sell instead of making it a nicer environment for us like they claimed. With the already over-saturated technician market, finding decent work is going to be difficult especially now that 200 experienced technicians and pharmacists are all looking.

over 25 years with the company (most of which was as Medco), I should be getting 20 weeks severance as per contract....force feeding us 14 weeks SUB to run concurrently with unemployment (called "re-employment" here in sunny Florida). Unemployment runs out after 14 weeks...must hope to quickly get another job as there is not much leeway. And if you do get a job, the SUB ends and you would then be entitled to only 25% of the remaining 14 weeks (if any).

With a severance package, I would have had the 20 weeks severance followed by 14 weeks unemployment. That would give me enough time to try and cobble together a resume et.al. Never thought I would have to be starting over again at this stage of my life. Sigh.

nope this was in tampa in feb. they're refusing to payout unused vacation time, time bank time, and refusing to give the severance package. they also locked out any former employee that had access to hrexpressway so you cant view any of you information. they are stating to provide a 12 week sub package "no idea what the hell that is" unemployment. so essential they will okay unemployment for 12 weeks nothing more.

Extortionate

Scandalous

Imbeciles
