200 people let go, while the management sits in the ivory tower and make millons. Devon management do you care about anyone? I wonder! There was no dignity in the way they handled this. You went from the top company to the bottom. Management are you making sacrifices or just passing judgment. The way this was handle could make someone flip. I am so sorry for those that lost your job today. Hang in there you will find somewhere better.

Devon has not let you know of interim layoffs they layed off one girl in my department for not smiling enough and layed me off because they blamed me for my bosses mistakes which he admitted he made
Just heard 20-25% of IT staff was released yesterday, not at all performance based. That's huge.
Supposedly there are more coming. There were around 200 laid off yesterday. Apparently they're starting vendor layoffs today and then more in house within the next week. Good luck to everyone.
Today was horrible! I had not heard 200, but rather 50. I am even more sad now. While I am still there (as of tonight), I was shocked at the folks that were let go. They were performers, this was not a cut of the bottom 10%, but a cut of really good performers. All the best to all impacted.
