SDPDX, you must be a total moron if you can't figure out what's going on. While the timeline might be in question the end game results are the same.

931, I'm not a reporter. I am trying figure out what's going on. I read the DOE letter to Corinthian and a letter from the Attorney Generals, and a bunch of articles and I'm still trying to piece together the facts. I'm not an insider. I was just hoping people who are insiders could help me figure this out. You can answer them or not. I'm just asking. If I don't find answers here, I'll just keep looking.

I'm frustrated & concerned and trying to get to the bottom of this is starting to feel like that proverbial rabbit hole! What did Corinthian do to screw up the Portland campus? Why did the enrollment drop so drastically? I saw a letter, from the US Dept of Edu to Corinthian College regarding Healds "alleged falsification of documents" that was just sent last week. They are fining Corinthian almost $30million dollars. In the letter they break down some reports and seem to be able read them just fine. Is the Portland Heald Campus owned by Zenith now or not? Was/Is Heald a bad company?
@SDPDX, Corinthian for 5 years has screwed the Portland Heald campus up. We are at less than 400 students now. When they bought us less than 5 years ago we were over 1200 strong. The Department of Education is looking into alleged falsification of documents. But they have admitted they don't even know how to read the reports. It is a big cluster right now. Plus the AG in California is running for Senate and trying to make a name for herself by shutting down a supposed bad company in Heald which has been around for over 150 years.
I'm very interested to learn more about this whole situation. Does anyone want to share facts?
@887: Or they're just waiting to be able to collect unemployment and relax a bit after having to endure this whole debacle.
Anyone who is not looking for a new job at this point has had so much kool aid that they are unemployable.
