In related news, AG Kamala Harris announced that the state of California plans to file suit against Taco Bell for deceptive marketing paractices. Harris is quoted as saying,
"For years, thousands of California citizens have been lured by high-pressure marketing canmpaigns into believing that Taco Bell provided fresh, flavorful, nutritious food, only to realize too late that they had over paid for food that was high in calories and fat, contributed to obesity and tasted like something scrapped off the bottom of a toxic waste disposal container. It is my duty to protect our citizens from these predatory fast food institutions". Newly named VP of Taco Bell Education, Jack Massomino, replied,
"Is this us?"
Press Release: In an effort to help relieve national student loan debt, Taco Bell is pleased to announce that we have agreed to purchase Heald College, one of California’s most historic academic treasures. It will now be called "Taco Bell College" and will still be accessible to the public for attending. "This is an exciting day" said Corinthian College President Jack Massimino, "We've worked well with Taco Bell in the past and this move should allow them to place even more of our graduates." While some may find this controversial, we hope the move will prompt other corporations to take similar action to do their part to reduce the country's student loan debt. More details to come.
