Thread regarding Heald College layoffs

Update....

while I appreciate the updates on Jack's butthole, which is very funny by the way, I'd like to talk more about the couple of posts saying there a possible sales announcement as early as tomorrow. Anyone with serious info want to weigh in?

The DOE does seem to be usually lenient , since they have a connection i believe , to the company that bought

the other schools.

But you can't change the terms simply by transfering the ownership unless the DOE agrees or writes off the previous

terms. & the AG certainly won't agree to change any terms , although its not involved in banning new students , which

is why heald hasn't been sold.

696, it's my understanding that if we are sold then under the new ownership we will be able to enroll students again.

It doesn't matter or make much of a difference if heald can't enroll new students. If someone does buy heald

it'll probably be for pennies on the dollars. And like KKR break it up and sell the remaining assets.

No college can stay in business long without new students. Its a different story if they are allowed to.enroll

new students.

Heald strong.

No BS, they told us late this afternoon that a buyer was still at the table and something could be announced as early as tomorrow. There's a lot of skepticism obviously, but that is what we're being told. Who knows if it's true or just a ploy to keep people calm. We'll find out soon enough.
