Short version: Heald will likely be closed with an announcement coming over the weekend. Long version: Everyone at the meeting is talking about the basic options of closure versus teachout. The lawyers probably are recommending closure as that is the safest from a legal exposure point of view. You may not know until Monday morning that you are out of work.

Relax. OP is simply making things up (believe it or not, that happens online). Buyers are still in discussions, with a probable deal in principle by cob tomorrow (Friday). I know this from a very high person who shared this "in confidence."
I don't know whether the OP is a troll or not, but there's someone on here who's been posting negative information (i.e. information we don't want to hear), but who seems to have the timetable right. Also, the person who posted the Jack Massimino letter has some access. Somebody who is very connected has definitely been posting here. It's hard to tell since this is an anonymous forum, but I wouldn't just write somebody off saying "how would you know?" Really hard to tell at this point.

If CCI doesn't get current on the $100 million loan and it has a $250K pay due shortly then BofA in theory can attach Heald's assets including the furniture. Imagine teaching a class when the sheriff comes in and seizes the desk.

There is information on the DoE site that says the schools can still receive federal funds for currently enrolled students. We're being told that the campus will be open on Monday and that doesn't look like it will change unless additional events develop.
