A few days ago Persavich and company were speaking at a campus. He told us that he was "100% certain" that Heald would be sold, that there were qualified buyers at the table with money. He also explained in detail that they were fully aware of potential liability and were "willing to take the risk." 100% certain. Just days later the rallies were in full force and the petition was being signed. This occurred just a few days after Dr Jon's horseshit.

Yep, he spent an hour on our campus talking about how great it will be to start the Bachelor's program. Would never answer questions about how unlikely that would actually be. Asshole!
What do you expect when his background is from CCI?
We walked out on him a few months back when he visited out campus and acted like nothing was going on.
Oh well . . . at least I'm laughing my ass off over this, especially the one about Jack being balls-deep in Persavich!
It's really sad, but check out the CA attorney general website. It's on there. No new students can be enrolled at Heald. Stockton and Salinas are barred from Title IV funding. There are tabs for the two campuses for students to check out that have lists of law firms, etc. Several of the other comments here have the exact website.
After four beers, Jack will get balls deep in Jon's rear. Cal grants or not.
When he was at our campus several weeks ago he was very, very casual about our potential closure, barely mentioning it. I got the impression he was either extremely confident a sale would occur or he just didn't give a shit. It was very odd. I suspect his only priority right now is insulating himself and his assets from what is coming.
CSAC already halted CalGrants. Heald isn't even going to today's meeting.
The half-truths being told on campus are as bad as the rumors here. Really? Two buyers? What the hell is there to negotiate? How much we're going to pay one of them to take on all our liability and absolutely trashed reputation? Will the buyer be "chosen" by Friday? Or today before CSAC halts the CalGrants?
