Heald (and CCI) is facing possible criminal charges. DOE, CA AG have BOTH told Heald management in so many words: "If you start another quarter in April then make SURE that you have the money to finish it". "If you don't have enough money then don't even start". The likelihood of criminal charges increases a LOT if Heald starts but not finishes the April quarter.

Whether or not OP is a "troll", one has to admit that said "troll" has been pretty accurate. Hopefully he is wrong about the closure of Heald but it seems pretty clear that a teachout is coming.

Just remember, that "President" was making $120,000+ a year. They can care less about the teach out. They will probably still get unemployment too. This school was a sham for students, faculty, and regular employees. They probably put down deposit on a house, had a couple of kids, took out a loan on a car... Now they are screwed.
Last week during a campus meeting, the Pres emphatically stated there would be no teachout. Period
