I use to work for Intel Digital Home Group. It's the Set Top Box division that makes the ATOM Processor for Comcast X1 Home entertainment. I would commute to Chandler, Arizona weekly and work on site. We lost our main accounts to Google TV, Samsung, and Sony. They started laying off people and shutting down the division. My manager Ben Choi was a real condescending micro manager that stabs people in the back. Working for Intel is a temp place and you should use it as a stepping stone to another career.

Screw Intel, and their puppet managers. Leave and get the best package you can, be aware, managers will lie about your tenure so when you sign it electronically what you see is not always what you get. I got screwed out of 9,000 bucks.
When will people wake up and realize the CEO and the President of Intel are the issue! BK and Renee truly have no vision of the future and are the problem.
Couldn't agree more. I made it 13.5 years with good/great reviews all the way through, then, coincidentally, 6 months before my next sabbatical was let go. Well, offered a VSP or an impossible to complete Corrective Action Plan. I knew Intel's reputation when I was hired so was prepared.
If manager and director decide to remove candidate then they will harass to quit the company and put him in the corner by taking out all projects. We need always keep good rapp with mgr you will screw you irrespective of the work you do.they did same thing for me. I did 10 projects in 2014 and they put in corner this year..I spent sleepless nights to complete the work..
All experiences are different!
