Fellas, brace yourselves because type F6 storm is on its way.
709 sound just like Heald, and when you have some free time later, stop by my desk, I have a bridge to sell you.
This sure sounds a lot like Heald. Harvard College adheres to the purposes for which the Charter of 1650 was granted: “The advancement of all good literature, arts, and sciences; the advancement and education of youth in all manner of good literature, arts, and sciences; and all other necessary provisions that may conduce to the education of the … youth of this country….” In brief: Harvard strives to create knowledge, to open the minds of students to that knowledge, and to enable students to take best advantage of their educational opportunities. To these ends, the College encourages students to respect ideas and their free expression, and to rejoice in discovery and in critical thought; to pursue excellence in a spirit of productive cooperation; and to assume responsibility for the consequences of personal actions. Harvard seeks to identify and to remove restraints on students’ full participation, so that individuals may explore their capabilities and interests and may develop their full intellectual and human potential. Education at Harvard should liberate students to explore, to create, to challenge, and to lead. The support the College provides to students is a foundation upon which self-reliance and habits of lifelong learning are built: Harvard expects that the scholarship and collegiality it fosters in its students will lead them in their later lives to advance knowledge, to promote understanding, and to serve society.
668 Yes, Sherlock, I am detached from reality...keep smokin', you're going to need it in the unemployment line.
If there are no updates whats the deal then? I don't want to be amused. I want to keep updated on the facts. Does Heald or Corinthian have any others sites other than this site for getting information about the sale? I also don;t like the new format here. it looks wierd.
I find the posts by 646 (there have been many....very recognizable style), to be amusing and entertaining, in a hallucinogenic, detached-from-reality sort of way.......
659: Thank you.
646: It would have been great if Corinthian had focused on the students from the beginning.....if that were the case, maybe we would not be in this mess.
646 you must be one of the asshats running this place into the ground. Without addressing the educational difference between Heald and Harvard. Harvard isn't being sued, doesn't have a 100 million loan due at the end of the month, hasn't claimed bankruptcy in Canada and doesn't have dozens of students dropping out every week. Deflect all you want, that probably means you are among the many unemployable staff.
Does Harvard send out a status update of the college every day? What about Princeton? It is quiet because the wheels of education are moving along, and moving just fine. No news is just that...no news. Let's focus on students and leave the heavy lifting to Legal.
I am surprised that Heald is still in business.
We have 19 days until the loan comes due, we are all screwed and mid-management is either stupid or using us to get the last bit of possibly unpaid work out of us.
They have new meetings scheduled for tomorrow, to tell us all that there's still no news.
At this point no news is bad news.
No one is telling us anything, it is unbelievable.
Exactly what I have been thinking...
