Yes, unfortunately, I believe Getty Images will have massive layoffs at the VP Level and Production departments. The amount of debt the company has on its books ($2.5 Billion) is too much to bear and a burden on profits. Clearly, in terms of staff photographers, there are just too many on staff that can easily be replaced by contributors and Instagram!
Shutterstock should just buy them and close it up
