One is for media and ent and will have MTV and Comedy Central, a second will be for kids and family and will include Nick, TV Land, and Nick At Nite. BET will be managed separately. I do not want to share too many details of severance, but it does keep me on their books just short of the end of this fiscal.

I got the axe today. They eliminated 4 people from our department. I sort of was expecting it quite honestly. I got my severance materials immediately and I was pleased with my package. It is disappointing how the company communicated changes internally, but at this point, I was ready to go and will welcome the bit of a break.

what, really? are you let go right away, or you get some time to wrap thing up? How can they not offer severance info when they let you go?
this is so messed up!
I'm one of the people to get the axe but weirdly still haven't gotten any severance details from HR. anyone know if they are offering one week or two weeks severance per year of employment, etc.
