One thing is for certain, Avago will cut whatever they don't want and, hopefully, will sell off the rest as they did with LSI.
We all know HR, finance and IT will take a big hit and IMO, Endace would be sold as well as the SOC and bridge business from prior the acquisitions of Vixel and Sierra Logic. Question now is, does Avago want both the NIC and FC adapters or just one or the other? My guess is that over time, the group in San Jose has the best chance of survival, more impact in Costa Mesa and little if any in Roseville.
I think that's a bit too much - we would collapse in a week
