Oh my god! Meds that reak of alcohol! More like meds mixed with alcohol! Everyone on campus notices that! I work in the front of the building and know all about her "issues".

As for no lunch....I see a certain department chair leave every day for about an hour and get her lunch. Every single day. So not all managers are in meetings all day. Quit kidding yourself.

Hmmm....an instructor on meds teaching hands on skills that involves people's lives. I don't know about that one. Maybe a lawsuit waiting to happen.

So much bashing without fact. No one comes to work drunk!! This employee is on meds for an illness...and it WAS asked about and not just dismissed or ignored!! All of the Directors have so many meetings - they never get a lunch and if you look around most times their in a conference room...in another meeting...not MIA!! GET A LIFE or better yet ANOTHER job...if you're so unhappy!!!

Not all instructors...just one. Haha. It is strange seeing the Dean acting like he cares about the staff when Askins is around.

Hopefully they have only left LL's name up outside her office just because Askins is interim. Who knows.....

LLUB there will be no reunion. Stay home. Askins is holding your managers accountable and they actually come to work. Our instructors and others are a little tipsy from time to time but our attrition is good and nobody can touch us. Not even Revina

I will return to my campus this Friday. I am so happy to reunite with my losers. We will all be one happy loosing family. Love you all.

6951: I agree with you. On the other hand, it will make you feel better to know that, as long as attrition is good and profits are good, the teachers and the Dean can do whatever. They can come and go as they want and drunk or not is all good!

Oh and not to forget the instructor who shows up every day smelling like alcohol and gets an award for saving a students kittens! Really?????? I mean really? Lol. Education department is getting out of control. Just because other campuses are sending them over doesn't mean we have to keep them!

The dean needs to go and go soo . If our retention is so great....why are we still having daily meetings? The dean needs to get over himself and stop disappearing for hours at a time. I haven't seen the dean on campus so much since we got Askins. He actually shows up to work now!

And as for earpiece... His time is limited. He is to relaxed and unprofessional for the title he has.

5803: I feel your pain. Calling TWC is not going to solve your problem. You need to understand that Revina ( his boss) will suck up every drop of every employee's blood to get what she wants which is PROFITS. Your time, my time, family, friends and whatever else we value is not important. PROFIT does . Sad but true.

5907 is right about the crooks part. This school is screwed up in many ways. Give attrition a month or two and it will go back to "normal". Askins will eventually figure out our Dean who disappears from the campus hours at a time. Askins eventually will get rid of the ear piece as well.

Maybe it isn't Askins. Maybe it is the DOE. He doesn't really have any compassions towards the instructors unless it is in front of Askins. If we catch him in the hall about something he treats us like we are a nuisance. He doesn't think we have a life outside of our job and does not care about us individually at all. He treats the chairs and directors much better.

He is a joke. Maybe Askins sees through his fake show he puts on. Along with all of the other directors.

I worked for him when he was a campus president. He is not a control freak in any sense of the word, he is very concise and doesn't suffer fools. There must be something missing because he doesn't have meeting to just have meetings. I NEVER a had to go through a chain of command to speak to him, and if our directors required it, they would have been gone. What you are saying is not his management style. 85907 is right. If they spoke up they would be made out to be negative. It is a different world on this campus. They only think of themselves...not the staff.

We don't need daily meetings. Our retention is fine. It is a control thing. And we can't talk to him. We have a chain of command. Our chairs aren't allowing us to speak with him and if we do we will get reprimanded and be labeled negative. The Dean just blows everyone off. Our campus is doing great on our level. It is the business side that is a complete mess. We have no control over that area. Eventually this campus will be found out about the crooked way they are running things.

Why don't you ask him instead of complaining here? You are an adult capable of having adult conversations, right? Maybe it's because you campus is a complete mess and no one has been held accountable. Maybe shaping up and doing what is required of you would stop a daily meeting.

This Askins guy may be great but why is he making the education department meet every single day with him? The instructors are split shift. They should be allowed to go home right after 2 pm. They are salary...but that is basically 12 hour days when hr keeps them so long. Their is no point in leaving and coming right back. We do have family and he is taking what little time we have with them away for meetings that should be held with the program chairs. That's what they get paid to do. Let us go home for a little bit!

An instructor who just left recently complained to the TWC. It needed to be done.

Most of what you all are saying on here is a joke!! Yes - Askins is going to be great for this campus and yes things are looking great- but don't kid yourself in thinking the directors work 10-5 and call it a day....including LL! There is so much behind the scenes that has to happen for the campus to survive...and spills over to most weekends. And the retention of students in all departments is something to be proud of. Negative minds will always be negative! Focus on how to make this campus the best and what you can do to make that happen instead of all the things you dont. Believe me I've worked in worse and in the same industry. And if you dont like where you are no one is making you stay so. move on!

LLUB: Is the best President I have ever worked for. She didn't care what time I came to work or what time I left from work. That was very cool. She didn't care about the students or anybody else. Her only care was herself and the expensive cute shoes she could buy with her fat paycheck.

I'm not Askins, but I do work at the campus and overhear a lot of the Directors comments about everything. Not too hard to figure out who I am. I am glad that someone is starting to hold people accountable. LL was a joke.

2710: Be nice.. Lol. They are use to working the minimum for at least a year. Go in after 10:00am and leave before 5:00pm was really nice. Now they are in shock! It so hard for them to work full time, even though they like the full time money they get paid every two weeks. Perfect team for LLUB!

Wow this is like a wild fire getting everybody burned. All because LLUB is a sorry A.. campus president. I feel sorry for all of her managers that are now being criticized.

2458: The instructors stay because in their MA/ DA industry they will be making half of they are miking now. I totally agree on LLUB to stay the heck out of the campus.

Who knows..this campus has zero communication from the Dean to the director's. The dean micromanages his staff so bad and steps on the program directors feet all of the time. They keep the staff over there regular hours. I feel bad gkr the instructors who have split shifts and they still have to sit in all of the meetings just to hear the Dean hear himself talk about the same thing over and over. They even make the instructors come in on mod breaks. Give them a break! They don't even allow them to take vacation until Christmas when the students are out. I am shocked some of these instructors are still there. They are too good for this campus. They are tired and one day they will be left covering the classes themselves because they do not give them a break.

The reason it has gotten so many responses is that there is real leadership from a qualified person. Our campus needed it, LLUB was a terrible choice for a CP. This new guy can run circles around her while sitting in a chair. I am hopeful that Zenith is going to be hiring more people like him in leadership roles. We have got to have them.
