Didn't know how many got axed in 2014 - but a lot of people with 10+ years of experience there got RIFF'd. It wasn't announced in the local papers either - guess TPTB didn't want to mess up the ATK merger deal...
This is not surprising. If you're not a yes-man Orbital will find a reason to get rid of you.
I used to work for Orbital so I'm not surprised. I saw several layoffs and was disgusted by the way that HR treated those affected, not even giving them adequate time to pack up their personal belongings before escorting them out the door.
