Several people who said they are student posted here looking for places to find real information. The Office of the Attorney General has several links, including an interactive tool at this site http://oag.ca.gov/consumers/general/consumers_cii_faqs. The office stresses that this is not legal advice, but does help students figure out what they are entitled to.

Yeah, the whole thing is political. It has absolutely nothing to do with all the falsifying of placement numbers, the gifting of grades, the admission of homeless people and mentally incompetents, the smile and dial. I could go one. Keep telling yourself it's all political. Heck, even the Frontline exposé predates Harris' even being in Sacramento. Keep telling yourself it's all political, and keep doing what you're doing.
The AG is a JOKE. This whole thing is POLITICAL! She wants to be a Senator and has the Public School unions in her pocket to protect.
