Do you maybe have a list of stores that we are planning to close. I heard that over 10% of Chico's stores may be closed, since we have 1,500 stores that would equate to 150 closures.

The Chicos store in Carlsbad, CA did NOT close. I shopped there two weeks ago.

Just called a White House Black Market store in Vero that we heard from another store in the plaza that they closing and the mgr. said they definitely ARE NOT CLOSING, nor is Chicos next door. Has anyone else heard for sure that White House Black market is NOT closing and neither is Chicos?

98 stores have closed and another 250 are scheduled. Currently, 25% are scheduled to close with more likely.
All White House Black Market stores are also closing. Employees are currently being informed via conference call.

I have had the same problem with finding out about Canadian stores! Considering this store is now run by Bonnie Brooks who is Canadian, the USA has many more Covid cases than Canada and their stores are open it does not make sense!

I was an employee at Chicos. Yes the wages s—ed, the work was strenuous, especially on Sunday mornings at 7 am for a state set, we worked 5-6 hours and maybe got something for 50% off. I quit, it wasn't worth the aggravation anymore, from my co-workers to the sometimes horrific customers.
Yes personal service was so important but they took advantage.
I love my Chicos in Tallahassee..love the friendly staff and the personalized service. The clothes all look chic but of late I have noticed a decline in the quality of the material in some items. What I love is going in and coming out with a completely coordinated outfit for play or for dress.PLEASE DONT CLOSE OUR TALLAHASSEE STORE.Cathy

There will be no brick and mortar stores left in the near future ! Women in my age range enjoy being able to go into a store and try things on . I am 60 . I can sometimes wear 2 different sizes and it is nothing but a hassle to order online . You cannot see the quality of an item online .
No store is safe. I believe Chico’s is grooming the customers to shop online. Then they don’t have to pay rent, payroll, etc. As an employee I resent the cheap wages they pay us, the heavy workload with skeleton crews and the extreme pressure each store manager is subjected to. It seems to me a huge chunk of Chico’s money is used towards severance payments for movement among the top management.
The store at friendly center in Greensboro is not closed.
If CEO'S would acknowledge that they have gutted the middle class buying power with stagnant salaries and reduced benefits plus irregular working hours, the country wpuld be in a lot better shape. Just going to online will not solve the poverty of the middle class.

Chico’s is a reasonably priced fashion store, problem is messing with the best sellers...leave Bridgette so slimming and Juliette slimming alone. Perfection doesn’t need improving. LEAVE the store alone in Fayetteville NC. We want it to stay! Best run store in N.C. Best manager as well.
Prices at Chicos were too high and the fashions were very attractive

Chico's is closing its Mall at Greece Ridge location. RIP - it was a great store!
The Chico’s store closings is really the result of the company looking to put a MUCH BIGGER focus on online sales and reducing its physical store count to compensate for this. WE will close down 250 stores over the next three or four years.
I was one of the assistant manager' let go after 8 years!
