116- Do it, you dumb f***. You obviously understand nothing about loans or bankruptcy. Every other type of debt including gambling can get written off but 'job training' is the only exception and it shows as increasingly toxic debt dragging down the federal ratings. You guys are dreaming if you think you can keep on making known toxic loans without paying the piper.

Camden Kid - GO AWAY! For those of you who don't know him, CK has never worked in the career college industry, much less at ECMC or Corinthian Colleges. He has a bizarre mix of degrees and his spotty work history consists of part-time adjunct gigs teaching sociology at community colleges. I don't believe he has any classes right now. He spends hours and hours each day here, on the Corinthian layoff.com site, on his own conspiracy theorist sites, on yahoo Finance (harassing investors in CCI and other career colleges), and elsewhere. He is a nuisance and a fanatic. It's best to ignore him, but if he won't go away it's fair game to call him out on it. Ask him why he's here. Ask him why anyone here would be interested in reading his nutty opinions.

Let us all stop paying our bills and join the magnificent 13 or 14. Then we will all be magnificent!! I will call my mortgage company on Monday and tell them I am part of the magnificent group and I will ask to have my payments excused!!! That would really be nice!!

Glen Ford (Black Agenda Report) hits the nail on the head about racism and classism in higher education, particularly at for-profit colleges.......http://blackagendareport.com/node/14691

I like how the first article seamlessly linked the private loans with the federal loans. Completely different animals and from my understanding, all of the students who have/had Genesis loans will have their debt forgiven.

Their only hope is if the Government chooses to "give up" on the debt. But, with the billions of dollars in fed student loan debt where do they cut it off?

It won't happen, that guy is screwed. He should be looking for a second job, not wasting his time with this.

141: You are absolutely right. The money owed belongs to uncle Sam and he gets his money one way or the other.

This is going to end well for them. Not paying federal student loans bodes well for their financial futures.

Typical Everest student, not looking/thinking more than 10 minutes ahead.
