Why layoff the best faculty one institution could have and replace them with people who have no buy in to the company. Now....look at the wall. TS is making over 150K easily, and the two deans left are around 90K. the PDs are making between 60-65, but PJ is making well over 80K. Thats what happens when you suck on TS titty! Now think to your selves.....if you are faculty, then you are getting paid shit! If you a SS rep, look at your PDs. They do nothing and get paid a shit ton of money to your $10 an hour rate. They are not working on weekends either. Go Merica yourselfs

OP and 902183. I teach Accounting and Finance at a couple of for profits and hate what is happening. You have mistakenly assumed that Zenith Ed ever had the intention of being a going concern. Enrollment looks to be down by design -as yousaid student choice and bad forecasting. The place is a criminal joke, I can't stand it. EF/DP who knows I stay out of there, all cowards no leaders
Interestingly, Everest gave students the "Student Choice" program to allow students to take their credits and have Federal loan forgiveness, and many of the "good" students were smart enough to do so. Thus, leaving faculty to manage the lower-level students. What a terrific idea?!? Now enrollment is low and the low-performing students are still in the program.
OP - Instructors were not let go as "punishment". Declining enrollment means a need for fewer teachers. Business 101. I understand your emotion, but all businesses downsize on the front lines when revenue decreases. I agreee that leadership here has failed, but the culture is such that they are not held closely accountable. That fact alone explains a lot in terms of the sad state of affairs at CCI/ECMC/Zenith.
I dont get it either. When in the Army or other businesses, when someone f***s up, the brass pay for it and not the grunts. So, enrollment is down, fire the faculty? Why? The executives have not fulfilled their promises or forecasting as the call it. So, the faculty pays for it? Stupid business plan ever!!! Keep paying these asshole money to do what? Yell at more reps to dial the phone? You should have changed the wall, and given all faculty the real job to continue teaching. No other REAL university or college would ever do something like this to their faculty. But instead, you promote idiots who do nothing and put them on the wall. EF.... I mean couldnt cut it on Wall street and now hides in his office and runs numbers for DP. I see them leave all the time together. What is DP husband knew about it?
