I saw this today and planned to post it, but you get here first! Good for you -- we need to have people understand what's really happening here (namely lining some pockets and probably planning to sell the company, all on our backs). The larger issue is jobs, period. If this article is correct, and it seems it will be shown to be so, then it is an illegal restraint of our employment.

Don't let yourself be coerced into signing anything until you consult an attorney (a labor law specialist would be idea). If anyone has talked to counsel, or learns anything by doing so tomorrow, please post it. We're all in this together and need to share information and knowledge.

I'll be interested to see if a class action suit is brought against Fossil, or if anyone will be writing to the senators and to Attorney General Holder and the two cabinet Secretaries: Johnson, and Perez. I bet they'd all be interested in hearing from a couple hundred IT professions formerly employed at Fossil whose jobs are now filled by Infosys.
