To provide you all with as much insight information as I have at this moment related to online jobs, here it is: There were approximately 100 full time faculty and Program Leads who received the RIF calls this morning from Patricia Jones (current inexperienced Business Dean in Tampa for online). She read a scripted message and did not deter from the message unless caught off guard with an interruption or a question, to which here response was a canned, "Ask HR". There are still a few full time faculty and Program leads left in the Online program and they are still there either because they have valid law suits pending (which the company would lose if they were terminated), or they are inexperienced, or compromising of values/ethics/legalities. There have been "secret evaluations" of all faculty going on by PLs for the past several months. When we as PLs asked if these results were shared with faculty, we were told they were, however, there was a message sent out by Shana Massimino saying explicitly "do not share these evaluations with the faculty". Sound a bit unethical or maybe illegal? Those of use who asked these questions, showed up on the RIF list today....could this be a form of retaliation....maybe so. I'd be willing to begin an HR inquiry via EEOC or similar governmental entity or investigative reporter if anyone would like to join in this endeavor as we all look for new jobs. Let's not let these unethical illegal leaders continue to hurt more employees, students, and taxpayers, as they think they are immune to the law!

I heard more non online faculty were let go. Thanks for sharing. Wish I could have recorded the call. Very cold.
Please dear God tell me that this isn't the same Patricia Jones that used to work for the nursing department at CSC???
I am willing to embark on your crusade-so lets do it. How do we contact each other without the vultures trying to figure out who we are?
Get your facts straight. I am still left for some reason and I do have a lawsuit, have been here many years, and do not compromise my morals or ethics. I often fail more students than I pass because that's the reality of the kinds of students they enroll.
Go ahead and start an inquiry. You better hurry and do this while there is still.a company to investigate...
