While true...there is a proper way to handle the situation and well, the way it was handled and the layoffs doled out was the worst I have ever seen or experienced in any business. It is very telling about the "leadership" of this organization and well, it is in the tubes for sure because of the horrible leadership. Soon there will be no more school and ECMC will be back to bill collecting full time which may have been the master plan all along.
What does an unsustainable business model equal up to = termination of staff and faculty especially when enrollment is declining and will continue to decline. This is not going to turn soon at all. It is time to get real and realize this is Meltdown 101.
