A bunch of instructors, including me, got the axe this morning. Apparently, enrollments have dropped sharply and will keep doing so. I take it as a good thing.

916 I posted that all the schools will drop enrollment and work on teaching out without the title "Teachout". This is what the government wanted, to bring down the liability.
Enrollment has dropped. Heard CJ is down to 4,000 and business is at 6,000. Where is my Stipend check?
Someone on the CCI board said a while back that Zenith never intended to keep the schools open. They were buying up the student information so that they could hound them for collections and would slowly close down operations on the education side. I'm sure its more complicated than that but it's starting to have a hint of truth in it. Sorry to hear that you all are being thrown out like garbage. I hope that you all can find work at better institutions of higher learning. It seems like more and more public schools are looking to online courses.
Why work for an organization that is ethically and morally challenged anyways? There are better opportunities out there and now put your energies into finding something that is more enjoyable and keeps you away from the dreaded Talisma system.
550 - If there aren't eough students to warrant the size of the staff, then your prior performance is meaningless. Hopefully your good reviews will help you get work at a better school.

Me too! I got a very urgent sounding voice mail, called back and BAM! I had been employed as an adjunct with CCI for nearly 4 years. Had positive reviews, perfect evaluations and then I get canned. Annoying!
