This is a no brainer. Simply have the Heald alumni raise the $100 million or so to save the Heald. Heald has been in business for 150 years and has many success stories. Make a couple of phone calls and the money will be raised in an instant just like Stanford or Berkeley.

We have been for sale now for 10 months. What will change to make us more attractive next week than we were the last 10 months? Unless the AG backs off and we retain CalGrants, there will be no sale. This will end soon, but not well.
I came up with the idea of Heald alumni "bailing out the Heald". Of course, it won't happen because the alumni don't believe in Heald. Heald has been in business (sorry I meant educating business leaders) for a 150 years so if Heald is a success then raising $20 to $30 million in a couple of phone calls should be no problem. It might be realistically the only way to save Heald. Heald won't be sold to anybody UNTIL AFTER CCI files for bankruptcy. To save Heald, means one has to most likely give away the product for close to no cost to get real students.
This is a good plan. is there a way to organize it through the alumni association?
Debt repayment incentive: For every dollar you give to the Save Our Heald campaign we will reduce your loan balance by fifty cents. Or vice versa......
Heald Alumni are just trying to pay their student loans off. Don't ask fo money from them
They are getting called daily by the Heald debt collectors, maybe they could tack that on too.
