From what my former colleagues have told me that are still employed there, they have cut campus staff tremendously. Depending on the size of the campus, there is only 1 full time rep in the Business Office handling all duties in a day (Opening/Closing Register, assisting students on the phone/in person, provide reporting to campus/regional/corporate, etc.). Having worked there for almost 7 years, until I left back in 2012, to have only 1 Full Time employee in the Business Office and to do the amount of work required is completely insane! They expect you to completely disregard your family at home and make work your primary focus once you step in and out the door of the workplace. The problem with Strayer is they have completely gotten top heavy and what I mean by that is they kept hiring at the Corporate Level, creating bogus positions and giving people titles these outsiders did not deserve and bypassing people who knew how the operations ran from front to back. By ignoring the campuses and taking away resource after resource, and laying off good hard workers who have been there for years and replacing them with either young inexperienced people or people off of the street who have no experience because they can hire them at a cheaper rate.

Forced to grade change for a student attending twice in a semester. First and last time I will work there. The 'college' wanted her money. so they changed the grade from F to C
You should be grateful you escaped from Strayer. The only thing upper management cares about is the bottom line. To hell with the students & the employees.
Good luck
