Close ITT. The sooner the better. This is the only way this corrupt money machine will stop taking the advantage of people.

Wow, CK (who is the OP and both previous commenters), you really hit the nail on the head! The BEST thing a person can do is to stop paying their loans that are UNDISCHARGEABLE in bankruptcy and collected with the full backing of the U.S. GOVERNMENT! Sure, normal loans can damage your credit and cause your life to spiral into under-employed misery, with $500 a month payments for a junker car and $1000 to live in a rat infested trailer park. But that's child's play next to sticking the middle finger to Uncle Sam himself! Hell, you'll never have a tax refund again! Forget keeping anything that you own -- these aren't those mamby-pamby lenders that are restricted in how mean they can be in getting you to pay. Yes, it is DEFINITELY a GOOD idea to refuse to pay federal loans! Screw 'em all and screw the consequences!!! Yee haw!

Stop your payments to this corrupted cash cow. This is as corrupt as CCI. Close this thing down ASAP, before more people get trapped to this unethical mess.

Best thing any former students can do is stop paying. That is apparently the only way to pressure the corrupt government and department of education to remove the unconstitutional backstops for private profits the republicans put in place in 1998 and 2005.
