Thread regarding Heald College layoffs

Any sale news?

Still nothing from Corinthian or Heald. Amazing. Not a word. Could they at least send an email out every few days with some BS? Something? How could a colleges/companies be so bad at sharing information?

The same BS we've been fed for the past eight months that Heald has "multiple buyers at the table" is not good news.

Nothing regarding the sale is put in writing because it ends up on this site. There are weekly calls in which sale news is shared with campus presidents. See him/her for a status update. News is good, with multiple buyers at the table.

Heald isn't getting sold. EVERY potential buyer has walked away.

CCI can only operate in a way that keeps the company and the big whigs closer to clean.

Expect nothing until somehow, someway it is to late.

Our campus keeps getting worse. The good students have left and the shitty students are allowed to get away with absolutely anything and everything because the school won't drop anybody or enforce any discipline. Even if Heald is sold, this shit will continue for quite awhile because we're many, many months, if not many years, away from being in a position to have standards again. Most faculty, it seems, have stopped taking anything management says seriously.

Hopefully something happens soon because our campus is falling apart. Long time staff are jumping ship, students are fighting, the AC is busted, bad employees being demoted back to the campus. Morale is down in the dumps.

I may be wrong, but I suspect - even after the delisting - that the company must still comply with SEC regulations since we are now traded OTC. That beinjg the case, there would be no meaninful communication allowed until an agreement in principle is reached. To do otherwise would place individuals at risk of prosecution. Our ELT may be crooked and unethical, but they aren't THAT stupid. Even if we are not subject to SEC regulations, publishing anything useful might interfer with negotiations. OK - everyone who thinks negotiations are underway, raise your hand.............go ahead...........hello?...............anyone??..........

If you were a current employee of Heald, I'm sure you've heard the sale update from your campus president by now. Very positive news, and the sale is steadily moving forward.
