Thread regarding Agilent Technologies Inc. layoffs

2015 Layoffs at Agilent

I do not have details about layoffs at Agilent (for 2015) but I know that company was split and moved thousands of jobs to the new North Bay headquarters of spinoff Keysight Technologies.

I left a high level LS technical position at agilent after 23 years. This company is just a shell of the organization it once was. Morale was rock bottom at my site of over 500 employees and a direct result of mismanagement from top to bottom. Incompetence is beyond description, a direct result of a upper management that bends for no one at all costs. Scientific expertise and rigor no longer exists and the company now prides itself in the OEM domain. Internal reorganizations happen frequently, while employees are left in an endless shuffle of regrouping, chaos and confusion. It is an accepted chaotic work environment that Agilent brass wants you to believe its a supreme company worth hanging in there for. Id be surprised if this company doesn't merge or sell in the very near future.
