The business press is getting worse and worse, saying Micky D's has lost touch with its workers and customers. Business insiders, more than ever, have been openly talking about the "pimping" of this company. There is a solution, if management is willing to listen. Those with a positive, respectful vision of their workers and customers will be rewarded.

More brutal financial news. When there are problems, workers can get leverage--if they are in solidarity with each other.......http://finance.yahoo.com/news/mcdonald-s-overall-sales-slump-in-february--u-s--results-horrendous-124718303.html

The first thing to do is know that there is a movement within McDonalds to get more respect. Mush of it is underground, because McDonalds has no problem breaking the law and firing people for organizing (yes, this is illegal). Smart businesses are having to make moves. For example, Walmart is going to be increasing wages for its employees--though they need to do more. Walmart may be learning from Costco that smart businesses are more responsive to workers as well as customers. Camden Kid - thank you for pointing this out. The management is not willing to listen. What do we do?
