Thoughts on what's going to happen? I know this only affects CA schools but will there be residual effects for Portland and Honolulu?

No one is going to buy Heald.
Sorry but I am Heald and they have told us nothing except all is fine and there are many many buyers bidding for Heald. We never heard a word about Zeniths. Maybe your campus tells you more, but we have gotten nothing in the way of information. Not trolling here. Just asking.
If the posters don't know what is going on by now they are either a stupid idiot or troll.I won't give them the courtesy of trying to explain 12 months of pain and suffering we have all gone through.
141, Zenith bought 50 Corinthian schools. Heald is not part of the purchase. http://www.ed.gov/news/press-releases/more-50-corinthian-campuses-transition-nonprofit-status-under-zenith-education-group
ECMC/Zenith bought all schools except Heals, Everest California and Canada. Seriously, do you not reads news or listen to your coworkers????
Is it true that Zeniths has bounght Corinthian? Is this a Califirnia outfit or out of state. Thanks for any information on this. Need to see what the next step is.
For multiple standpoints, the common-sense approach here would be to broker a deal involving CCI, a new buyer, and CA attorney general. Some money back to affected students and an agreement on policy going forward. Closing the campuses would have a significant impact on students, employees, and the state economy. Work together and get something done! The gubenetorial and senatorial races are a ways off, so focus on now rather than political points, Gavin and Kamela.
Heald runs off a unified OPIED, so in theory the loss of VA funding and Cal Grant could push them over the 90/10 rule. That's really more of a long term issue though; the next few months are likely get pretty ugly on the political front, reducing the chances for a sale.
