Ka architecture was founded in 1960 by Keeva J. Kekst. Was renamed as Ka in 1998. Was a 105 person firm in 2008, but after several layoffs are now less than 30. More layoffs and closure may be possible. The Florida office opened in 2008 was closed in 2009. The firm is primarily has done retail architecture but now have been trying to diversify.
