I took a lump sum payment and will be leaving Alcoa (Lafayette, IN). Good luck to all that will remain at the site. Some folks were not as fortunate and had no option and will be laid off.

Yep, I took the "Enhanced Retirement" in 2000 after twenty horrible years there. Best thing I ever did. Never looked back because there's a whole world out there waiting for you!! Good Luck 2 u!!!
