i dont work there but i used to be a customer. i purchased several trips from la to hawaii... the first one was ok, i think i overpaid, but it was ok. then, on my second trip, i purchased an ocean view room and paid x amount for it. when we got to the hotel in kauai we were given a mountain view room. needless to say, they kept the money we paid for the ocean room. we complained to no avail, they told us that expedia never communicated that we will be getting an ocean view room. long story short, we ended up in that mtn view room frustrated and w/out compensation. expedia did a partial refound once we got back. anyhow, i find the site lacking good deals and it\'s overall slow and PITA to use. i would not be surprised that with the economy in doldrums and decreased vacation travel they had to cut stuff. it has to be, right? on the other hand they may want to hire some good programmers and project managers to revamp that sad site of theirs.
