Thread regarding Manitowoc County layoffs

Ziegelbauer said he likely would determine the number of layoffs by Aug. 11, which is the date of the next Highway Committee meeting. He also said the layoffs probably would happen shortly afterward. Ziegelbauer said the layoffs largely are due to the declining revenues from the state, cities, towns and villages as well as lack of work at the Manitowoc County Airport.
