Thread regarding PharmaNet Development Group Inc. layoffs

i am not sure what's going to happen with pharmanet as certainly new healthcare system that is currently being forged may impact the overall way how business is conducted. is the us going to continue to be a leader in drug invention, or, are we going to controll the prices of drugs and therefore limit the incentives for new drugs discovery. if we take that paht, how many drugs will enter phase I, who will need bioequivalence, what about phase I to IV clinical development and bioanalytical services. hence, all aspects of pharmanet's business are under pressure and the future is 'certainly uncertain'...
