Thread regarding W.B. Mason layoffs

as the year comes to an end, the mole is reporting the following:

the reason so many Amazon packages are in warehouses is because the company buys a lot from Amazon to fill orders they can’t purchase from other vendors due to credit issues.

WB also buys a ton from Uline, the company they are trying to replicate in the shipping and packaging category. embarrassing.

on that topic, the buyer responsible for almost all of the shipping and packaging left a few weeks ago and will not be replaced. she was verbally abused to the point of no return.

the worst December on record is now complete. sales across Masonville significantly down with no rebound expected. the real numbers, and not the fabricated ones. Brockton will report, shows a forecast of $1.18 B for 2025.

furniture continues to plummet as people have not come back to the office and never will. Office furniture is dying on the vine.

headcount cuts will continue through January and February as the mothership tries everything possible to save the sinking ship.

thank you to the mole for continuing to bring this information out. the good people still there deserve to know the truth.

Essendant probably didnt want sales reps because they could raise their prices on them. Disruption is the way they succeed but now they're just conforming.

it’s actually rather sad. i remember the eassandant guy saying that most accts don’t want a salesperson. that’s about when the call center started . that’s also the all time high posted number for the fiscal year. from that point on, sales declined . morale declined . lawsuits increased . people started leaving . it would have been nice if frodo took a long look in the mirror to find the failures. oh yeah, based on his appearance ( misbuttoned , stained shirts etc), he might not have a mirror .

what would be ideal to see is a meehan actually taking responsibility for the downfall, instead of screaming at $65000/ year employees .

You're right about that!
The numbers are the numbers, and Amazon is not going to get worse they're only going to get better.
It's only a matter of time till they start doing Janitorial supplies the right way.

Mason is losing business to Amazon. The brain trust at the top think it’s a great idea to then go and buy their inventory from Amazon…

so meehan, why don’t you give us some solid real info? let’s start with dec 2024 numbers. not some BS made up , but real numbers . you know dec was horrible . come on , big boy, where’s the info showing the mole was incorrect?
