This last round of layoffs and continued looming threat of being booted made me finally decide to leave Dell. I’ve been here for many years and I’m fed up. If only the job market was better. My resume is not bad at all, quite the contrary, and it hasn't made any difference so far. I received very few offers, all of them outside the scope of what I’m good at and for a significantly reduced pay. I hope others have had more luck. Otherwise, we are collectively sc--wed.

I got an offer for basically a lateral move and I’m taking it. Sc--w Dell.
take me with you
Market ebbs and flows. You are way ahead of the game if you are getting offers in the slowest hiring season historically
Less pay? Unless we know more about your position I can say you are definitely the exception and not the rule. It will not be hard to get higher pay outside of dell if you have the interview chops and skills.
