I saw that post. It was so obviously trolling (I heard it from a friend of a friend of a friend...) that I’m guessing even the mods caught on and took it down.
When put together like that it seems alot, but over the past 2 years it was over 8k. One can assume it will be corporate and retail, but mostly corporate.
It's not hard to see where cuts could be if people look. Entire lines of business are sold to recover debt.
10,000 jobs? Is that just a guess or do you know something?
The post talked about 2025 layoffs, being done quarterly, with a total of 10,000 jobs eliminated. Didn't mention corporate vs retail.

So glad I left cvs, it's turned into a he-l hole.
Why should anything be surprising.. have you seen the stock price today? CVS Health is in serious danger..like no joke.. we can all talk trash about bad corporate decisions, but the truth is that it's far too late to turn things around.. stockneill be in the 30s by March 1st, 10000+ layoffs, accelerated store closures and other terrifying cost cutting measures.. CVS Health has a negative balance sheet and no sense of itself..
