Inventory prep----Really???

Our store is a disgrace. We have 60 recovery rods, and piles of cr-p at every register, however, we are told to forget about the mess, draw maps, and check for RFID tags. If inventory and customer service are key components, we need to do something dfferent. Maybe get the store back in shape now and due inventory in June. Tomorrow, we will ave 90 recovery rods and additional piles of cr-p. Most of our colleagues cannot chew gum and walk, yet recover and inventory prep!

Do you make a rod for items that need RFID? Have people check for no tickets/no RFID before putting stuff back? That part would take a few min per rod. Or just don't check for RFID and you'll find it on inventory night

Some merchandise does not have RFID tags which will be an issue come inventory. Found that out late last week in the store I was in. Let your management know so they can push the issue and that way it’s in their hands. Agree that most stores are messy and are really not ready for Inventory.
