Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

When you bring consultancy in

things get only worse. I'm afraid this has been nothing so far, compared to what awaits us. McKinsey will make sure Cargill is raided from the inside. Maximum profits, minimum number of employees. Culture, morale, human capital, tradition and the identity of a company, all can be damned. It’s just about money and then more money.

Agree dont blame the consultants.this is pure greed of the family and current ceo who got to his post by making unreasonable promises and appointing yes men under him.

Consultants simply carry out the wishes of whomever hires them. Ya'll know this of course. The consultants will do whatever is needed to reach the goals they are responsible for. The blame is on Cargill....not any consulting firm.

And don’t forget Deloitte an immutable “partner” - always wondering whether family members owns Deloitte or Deloitte owns CGL…hmmmhhhmm

Accenture are running the show after McKinseys told them what to do. It was used as an opportunity to get rid of anyone and anything that serves the leaders. A certain HR leader describes herself as the boomerang fleeting between Accenture and Cargill. She sure is giving them lots of business while slating the employees

They made sure to get rid of specialist areas, saying generalists can do. That’s so consultants can be brought in to replace those laid off
