Yes, it matters because the ones at the top at UHC are all corrupt, including the dead one it needs to be further exposed. There’s so much corruption within this company if the government came in and just interviewed some of the nurses, they would find out a lot of information as long as they were protected.

Check out Dr. Patrick Conway. Got a daytime (11 am) DUI in a silver mini van with his young kids in the car coming back from a soccer game. He was president of BCBS NC at the time and it led to the cancellation of the Cambia acquisition - would have been the largest healthcare transaction in NC histroy. After he resigned, Optum scooped him up to lead Optum Health, then moved him into Heather Cianfrocco's job leading OptumRx when the Senate Help committee turned the heat up on PBMs because he's a good sacrificial lamb. I think our board thinks it's good to have damaged goods in leadership - the "Expendables" will do and say almost anything the C suite asks of them.

You’d be surprised how many VPs and above got DUIs and kept their jobs. It’s like a badge of honor and part of the culture. Our M&R VP got one and everyone knew about it. A manager had a few too many after hours at a conference and mentioned it and was forced to resign. Get drunk, drive, put lives at risk, have your mug shot passed around…..no problem. Get drunk, pi-s off the guy in the mug shot with no lives at risk….see ya!

He got a DUI and got promoted to lead the company. Those not in the boys club got the same charge and got let go during the annual background checks. Just another example of two tiers of justice in this country.
